Ning started out as a Norwegian contemporary music ensemble exploring the physical, theatrical and visual aspects of musical performance. Ning has since 1997 been devising projects in collaboration with composers, actors, choreographers and directors. Ning has through the years constantly reinvented itself, and has produces a wide range of different projects. The work is today broadly speaking concerned with the role of music in interdisciplinary collaborations. Ning creates music, performances and installations, and the borders between performers, composers and directors are fluid.
Ning is today based around two main members, Erik Dæhlin and Amund Sjølie Sveen. Please visit the Ning homepage.
