NING - music and theatre
Established in 1997 as a contemporary music ensemble exploring the physical, theatrical and visual aspects of musical performance, NING was since the beginning devising projects in collaboration with composers, actors, choreographers and directors. The ensemble was constantly reinventing itself, and produced a wide range of projects. At the core of NING was an investigation of the role of music and live musicians in interdisciplinary collaborations. NING created music, performances and installations, and the borders between performers, composers and directors were fluid.
NING had several members through its active years 1997-2015, most notably Erik Dæhlin, Tora Ferner Lange, Rasmus Jørgensen, Maja Bugge and Amund Sjølie Sveen.
